TAMPA, Fla. – Lexington SC’s Pierre Mane was named to the USL League One Week 27 Team of the Week for the first time while Tate Robertson was also featured, the league office announced Tuesday.
Lexington SC played Charlotte Independence during the week, reaching a 2-2 draw at home on the back of an own goal by Charlotte and Mane’s goal..
Mane was technically the lone goal scorer for the club in the week with his put-back header putting the teams level at 1-1 after Lexington conceded in the first half.
As for Robertson, the Ohio native created four scoring chances on offense and logged three clearances and an interception on defense for a strong all-around performance.
Next up for Lexington SC the club will host Chattanooga Red Wolves on September 26 as it looks to make a late playoff push.
