Lexington Sporting Club announced the official signing of former W League player Autumn Weeks to the inaugural USL Super League roster pending league and federation approval on Wednesday, July 3rd.
Weeks, a strong defender, most recently suited up for the Gals in Green during the 2024 USL W League season, joining the club after playing two years with Valley Division rival Racing Louisville FC.
One year prior she also suited up for Chicago Red Star Reserves in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and helped push the team to be Lake Michigan Conference Champions.
Weeks is also a former NCAA Division-I standout with the Louisville Cardinals, playing two years in “The Ville” as a senior and fifth-year senior, taking the field in all 31 matches during her tenure. At Louisville she played 1,763 minutes with one goal and one assist.
Prior to joining Louisville, Weeks was a part of the IUPUI Jaguars in Indianapolis — also at the NCAA Division-I level — and played three seasons, suiting up for 45 games with 42 starts and scoring 10 goals with two game winners.
Before her college journey began, Weeks also played for FC Peoria in the 2016 Komm Mit International in Barcelona, Spain, helping to lead her team to win the tournament as team captain. She was also team captain when she helped Central Maine United Premier to win the San Marino Junior Cup in 2018.
She will now make the jump from women’s amateur team to women’s professional team, becoming the latest of the club’s USL W League stars to make the jump to the pros.
