Lexington, KY – Lexington Sporting Club is pleased to announce the signing of Jacob Greene to its USL Championship men’s team. A native of Annapolis, Maryland, Greene joins the club after stints with D.C. United and Columbus Crew 2, bringing valuable professional experience and versatility to Lexington’s roster.
As a product of the D.C. United academy, Greene emerged as a promising talent, earning professional opportunities with D.C. United in Major League Soccer and further refining his skills with Columbus Crew 2 in MLS NEXT Pro. Known for his speed, work ethic, and ability to contribute both defensively and offensively, Greene is expected to play a significant role in Lexington’s upcoming season.
“It means a lot for me to sign for Lexington,” said Greene. “I am excited to get started and give my all for the club.”
