
LEXINGTON, Ky. (February 21, 2025) – Lexington Sporting Club has announced a coaching transition within its USL Super League team. Effective immediately, Head Coach Mike Dickey will step away from his coaching role as the club explores new opportunities for his continued involvement.
In the interim, Assistant Coach Maren McCrary will assume head coaching responsibilities as the club evaluates its long-term leadership structure.
“Lexington Sporting Club is grateful for Coach Dickey’s contributions to the team and his dedication to our players and organization,” said Kim Shelton, CEO of Lexington Sporting Club. “We appreciate everything he has done to lay the foundation for our Super League squad and are in discussions regarding his continued involvement with the club. In the meantime, we have full confidence in Coach Maren McCrary as she leads the team on the road against Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow night at 7:30pm.”
