Lexington Sporting Club confirms that forward Nico Brown remains with the club as preparations continue for the 2025 USL Championship season, pending league and federation approval. Brown, a dynamic attacker, has been with the club since the team’s inaugural campaign in 2023.
Brown has showcased his speed, versatility, and finishing ability throughout his time with Lexington Sporting Club. Over the past two seasons, he has delivered strong performances and has been an important part of the club’s attacking play, contributing both as a goal-scorer and playmaker. His ability to create chances and adapt to different roles on the field has made him a valuable asset.
Before joining Lexington Sporting Club, Brown gained professional experience with the Maryland Bobcats in the NISA and Greenville Triumph SC in USL League One. At the collegiate level, he made his mark with Loyola University Maryland. His prior experience and adaptability have allowed him to grow into a key figure within the squad.
As Lexington Sporting Club continues to build its roster for the upcoming season, the club remains focused on assembling a competitive team for its second year in USL Championship. With preseason preparations underway, additional player updates and announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
